Work-related stress is a common occupational health concern that may negatively affect sleep and overall well-being among employees. This study examines the association between workplace stress and sleep disturbances in employed adults. Work-related stress is assessed through workload, job demands, time pressure, interpersonal difficulties, job insecurity, and work-life imbalance. Sleep disturbances are evaluated through difficulty falling asleep, frequent nighttime awakenings, reduced sleep duration, poor sleep quality, and daytime tiredness. The findings suggest that employees experiencing higher levels of occupational stress are more likely to report disturbed sleep and reduced sleep satisfaction. Persistent work pressure and inadequate recovery time may further contribute to irregular sleep patterns and daytime fatigue. The study highlights the importance of workplace stress management, adequate rest, supportive organizational practices, and healthy sleep routines to reduce sleep disturbances and improve employee health, productivity, and overall quality of life.
