Herbal medicines are widely used by adults for the prevention and management of common health problems and for promoting general well-being. This study examines patterns of herbal medicine use and perceived health benefits among adults. Information is assessed on the types of herbal products used, frequency of consumption, reasons for use, sources of information, and awareness of possible side effects or interactions. The findings suggest that many adults use herbal medicines for digestive problems, pain relief, immunity support, stress reduction, and general health maintenance. Perceived benefits, cultural beliefs, easy availability, and preference for natural products are important factors influencing their use. However, limited awareness regarding dosage, product quality, and potential interactions with conventional medicines may create health risks. The study highlights the importance of public education, appropriate labeling, quality control, and consultation with healthcare professionals to encourage the safe and informed use of herbal medicines.
